Roaming tips

• Make sure that the roaming service is activated on your line.
• All Orange Jordan Pay as you go (Prepaid) customers have active roaming service by default , but If you are a Pay Monthly customer, please visit one of our shops, as a deposit amount is required
• Check roaming services availability and roaming rates, bundles and offers in the country you are going to visit by following the link: https://internationalandroaming.orange.jo/roaming-services/roaming-map/
• Make sure you have a compatible power adapter so you can charge your phone. We recommend that you take a World Travel Adaptor available in the local market that allows you to use your mobile charger anywhere around the world.
• Disable the auto-update option in Google Play or App Store Settings.
• If you are Pay As You Go or Cost Control customer, please make sure you have enough credit to use while roaming.
• Check your Anti-Bill Shock limit for data usage while roaming by dial *979#.

• Switch on your mobile.
• In most cases, your mobile will automatically search for and register on a network.
• If not, check your phone’s user guide to find out how to search for a network manually.
• You will receive SMS notification regarding roaming rates in the network you are roaming on, and about roaming special offers available in this country.
• Keep this SMS on your phone for further reference.
• When you purchase a roaming bundle, you will receive a confirmation SMS, as well as notifications of the completion of 50%, 75% and 100% of your bundle.

• Subscribe to one of the roaming bundles and offers available in the country you are traveling by dialing *777# or by visiting out website: https://internationalandroaming.orange.jo/roaming-services/
• Turn off Automatic Updates.
• Some phones and computers have programs that automatically download updates and new versions once they are connected to the internet. Turn off automatic updates before you travel as they might consume a considerable volume of data.

    • • How to make calls -> dial the phone number using the international format for the country you are calling (i.e. 0096277XXXXXXXX or +96277XXXXXXXXX).
    • • How to send SMS -> insert the mobile number using the international format in the “To” field (i.e. 0096277XXXXXX or +96277XXXXXX).

• • For Pay As You Go and Cost Control customers:

• • Receiving SMS while roaming is free of charge.
