Roaming Data Bill Control
What is Roaming Data Bill Control Feature (Anti-Bill shock)?
Anti-Bill shock: It is a service which will protect you while roaming from having high bills from data roaming, by defining a specific limit on consumption.
What is the default limit on consumption and if I can change it?
The 500 JDs will be set as a default limit on consumption for all customers and customer can update it to any amount between 10 – 10,000 JDs , Via Dialing *979#
How can I get notified?
You will be notified while reaching the following consumption limits: 50%, 75% and 99%, then you will be notified that the data usage is blocked and you should either buy Roaming data bundle or update the consumption limit value
How can I deactivate my data roaming by using the roaming data bill control feature?
Cutoff feature will be replaced by 0 JDs consumption limit value at Roaming Data Bill Control Feature (Anti-Bill shock) , VIA Dialing *979#
How can I check the remaining amount of consumption limit and the validity?

When I have a roaming data bundle activated, will the roaming data bill control feature still be applied?

Is the ABS service will reset automatically?
- For Pay Monthly it will be on the bill cycle date
- For Pay As You Go it will be at the beginning of each month

What is the International Roaming?
International Roaming Service allows you to use your mobile phone to make calls while abroad. You can make and receive calls, send and receive text messages (SMS) or surf the internet and download content.
How can I subscribe to roaming the service?
The service is active for all Pay as You Go customers.
If you are a Pay Monthly customer, please visit one of our shops, as a deposit amount is required
How can I make a call while roaming?
Dial the phone number using the international format for the country you are calling (i.e. 0096277XXXXXXXX or +96277XXXXXXXXX)
How can I send an SMS while roaming?
Insert the mobile number using the international format in the “To” field (i.e. 0096277XXXXXX or +96277XXXXXX)
How can I use internet while roaming?

What shall I do before I travel?
- Make sure that the roaming service is activated on your line.
- All Orange Jordan Pay as you go (Prepaid) customers have active roaming service by default , but If you are a Pay Monthly customer, please visit one of our shops, as a deposit amount is required

- Make sure you have a compatible power adapter so you can charge your phone. We recommend that you take a World Travel Adaptor available in the local market that allows you to use your mobile charger anywhere around the world.
- Disable the auto-update option in Google Play or App Store Settings.
- If you are Pay as You Go or Cost Control customer, please make sure you have enough credit to use while roaming.
- Check your Anti-Bill Shock limit for data usage while roaming by dial *979#.
What shall I do when I arrive at my destination?
- Switch on your mobile.
- In most cases, your mobile will automatically search for and register on a network.
- If not, check your phone’s user guide to find out how to search for a network manually.
- You will receive SMS notifications regarding roaming rates in the network you are roaming on, and about roaming special offers available in this country.
- Keep this SMS on your phone for further reference.
- When you purchase a roaming bundle, you will receive a confirmation SMS, as well as notifications of the completion of 50%, 75%, and 100% of your bundle.

- Turn off Automatic Updates.
- Some phones and computers have programs that automatically download updates and new versions once they are connected to the internet. Turn off automatic updates before you travel as they might consume a considerable volume of data.

VoLTE Roaming
- Are there any subscription fees for VoLTE roaming? No. VoLTE roaming is charged at the same rate as regular voice calls and does not consume your mobile data. Voice calls and the internet are priced according to standard roaming tariffs or roaming bundles. For example, if you have activated a voice roaming bundle the call will deduct minutes from the bundle or charge you based on the standard roaming tariffs.
- Does VoLTE roaming work while roaming?
